The opening event, held last Thursday, brought together over 400 people, including representatives of the LGBTQIA+ community and local authorities such as Bilbao’s Councilor for Economic Development, Commerce, and Employment, Kontxi Claver, and the Tourism Director of the city, Mercedes Rodríguez.
Albert Olivé, CEO of Axel, mentioned that this new hotel joins Axel Hotel San Sebastián, completing the accommodation offering in the Basque Country.
«We have a presence in the two cities most chosen by tourists and local residents when traveling for leisure purposes,» he emphasized.
