BILBOKO KALEALDIA CLOSES ITS 26th EDITION WITH THE CASTELLONENSES LA FAM PRODUCCIONS
- La Plaza Arriaga has hosted the presentation of «Ambulant,» the last show of the Festival.
- From June 30th to today, 5, an absolute premiere, three premieres in the State, and eight in Euskadi have been showcased.
The company La Fam Producccions has been responsible for closing the programming of this 26th edition of BILBOKO KALEALDIA with their show «Ambulant,» a work that has earned them the award for Best Production Work of the 2025 XXVIII edition of the Max Awards.
The audience gathered at Plaza Arriaga has been able to enjoy a show that is presented as a tribute to the last classic circuses of the early 20th century. A poetic and intimate proposal that revolves around the idea of a journey to nowhere.
With the proposal of the castellonenses, the Festival comes to a close, which, from June 30th to today, has brought to different spaces of the Villa the performances of the 35 Basque, state, and international companies that have participated in this 2025 edition. Among them, an absolute premiere, the installation of Toño Valdivieso «El Jardín del BILBOKO KALEALDIA»; three premieres in the State such as the one by the Belgian company Cie. des Chaussons Rouges with «Épiphytes»; and by the French Facile d’exces who has presented «Gros débit» and Soul Project with the show of the same name.
In addition, the Festival has hosted eight premieres in Euskadi. «Plouf & Replouf» by the French company Compagnie Super Super and «Fleurir les abîmes» by Claire Ducreux; «Boucherie Bacul» by the Belgians Pikz Palace; as well as the state premieres «Doma» by DDC Danza – Daniel Doña; «Devoris Causa» by the company Escarlata; «Després de tot» by PSIRC; «Carena» by La Corcoles Cía. and «QOROQ» by Kolektiv Lapso Cirk.
