The Bilbao City Council will open the registration period for the municipal youth leisure program #GazteKLUBA Uda on Wednesday, May 28. A total of 420 young people, aged 12 to 17, have until June 5 to formalize their application through bilbaogazte.bilbao.eus, specifically from 10:00 on May 28 to 00:00 on June 5.
The objective of #GazteKLUBA Uda is to offer a healthy leisure alternative to adolescents in the city during the summer holidays, in the months of June and July, with a total of 11 activities. All information can be found on the Bilbao Gazte website or by calling 620 10 41 05 between 08:30 and 14:00.
8 outings combining sports and adventure (350 spots)
- Tuesday, June 24: Sopuerta Adventure, from 11:00 to 16:30.
- Wednesday, June 25: coasteering+beach gymkhana, from 10:00 to 18:30.
- Thursday, June 26: horseback ride on the beach, 11:00 to 16:30.
- Friday, June 27: climbing in Sobrón+outdoor pools, from 09:45 to 16:30.
- Tuesday, July 1: surfing in Sopela, from 12:00 to 18:00.
- Thursday, July 3: Mendexa Park, from 9:00 to 16:00.
- Tuesday, July 8: canoeing+paddle boarding, from 9:00 to 16:00.
- Thursday, July 10: climbing and speleology, from 09:00 to 16:30.
The outings cost 5 euros and spots will be assigned in order of registration.
3 water activities in the Bilbao estuary (70 spots)
- Saturday, June 28: kayaking, from 11:30 to 13:30.
- Wednesday, July 2: kayaking, from 11:30 to 13:30.
- Wednesday, July 9: paddle boarding, from 11:30 to 13:30.
The activities cost 2 euros and spots will be assigned in order of registration.
