
The Bilbao City Council will close the deadline for requesting the installation of summer terraces this Friday, June 6. As in previous years, there are two types of authorizations, depending on their validity.
Depending on the interest of the hoteliers, terraces can be installed throughout the month of August, from the 1st to the 31st (they can be set up from 08:00 on July 30 and must be dismantled by midnight on September 1) or only request their placement for the Aste Nagusia days, from the 16th to the 24th of August. In this second case, the days of assembly and disassembly will extend from 08:00 on the 14th to midnight on the 25th of August.
The Bilbao City Council has warned in a statement that after the deadline for applications, which opened on May 19, no more requests will be accepted. All holders of catering establishments interested in installing terraces of one type or another can do so by filling out the corresponding application forms, which are available on the municipal website.
The forms can be submitted either in person on the ground floor of the San Agustín Building, by appointment with Public Space (010, 944 010 010, or on the municipal website) or electronically in the section of procedures of the Public Space Department.
