Expert in internationalization and consultant, presents in «The Star Calibrator» what the West can extract from that process in the 21st century
The expert in internationalization, market strategy, and business consultant in China Julio Ceballos presents this Monday in Bilbao and Tuesday in Vitoria-Gasteiz «The Star Calibrator» (Ariel), an essay on the keys that have led the Asian country to become a «superpower» in four decades and the lessons that the West can extract from that process.
Ceballos, a business consultant in the Asian country, analyzes in his book the lessons that the West can apply to its model to face this 21st century where «progress is only made by learning from others’ experiences,» as reported by Ariel, the publisher of the essay.
In both talks, which in Bilbao will take place in the El Carmen de Indautxu hall at 7:30 p.m., with the collaboration of the BBK Foundation, and in the Alava capital at 7:00 p.m. at the Ignacio Aldecoa Cultural Center, Ceballos will address the values instilled in the Chinese educational system.
The author reviews in his essay, subtitled ‘Chinese Learnings for the West in the 21st Century,’ the decisions that can inspire this part of the planet to «perfect their democracies and build a more resilient, competitive society capable of thriving in a challenging global environment.»
Ceballos, who emphasizes that his book is not an apology for the Chinese system, invites Western democracies to «explore the Chinese model to turn challenges into opportunities.»
The Cantabrian business consultant dissects these keys with a «constructive, enjoyable, and optimistic» tone, revealing exportable keys to the West such as «meritocracy, investment in education, entrepreneurial spirit and culture of effort, or long-term strategic planning,» among others.
In his analysis, the expert explains Chinese achievements while providing tools and best practices to enrich our system and revitalize our institutions.
