During the concert, Morales will offer a program that «traces a musical journey through the essence of European piano repertoire,» as announced by the Sociedad Coral de Bilbao, starting with the Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52 by Frédéric Chopin, a work that encapsulates the lyricism and complexity of romanticism. It will continue with Sonata No. 23 in F minor «Appassionata» and Sonata No. 21 in C Major «Aurora» by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The evening will culminate with the expressive intensity of Three Scenes from Petrushka by Igor Stravinsky, a work that reflects the fusion of tradition and innovation, reminding us of the cultural richness of the continent.

«We are living in a moment of important political challenges in the world, and where war has once again devastated our continent. That is why today, music is more necessary than ever, as a common language that crosses borders, and as an element of cultural unity in Europe,» added the Sociedad Coral.

The concert will be led by Leonel Morales, an internationally renowned pianist, an exclusive artist of Yangtze River Piano, and the representative of the prestigious Grotrian-Steinweg brand in Spain.

In addition to its artistic value, the event aims to be a meeting point for different generations, so at the end of the recital, younger attendees will have the opportunity to approach the stage and share moments with the pianist, where there will be autograph signings, gifts, and surprises. «A gesture that seeks to awaken their interest in classical music and make the evening an unforgettable experience,» as explained.
