Podoactiva and Surne Bilbao Basket renew their collaboration agreement by which the company will continue to be the official provider of podiatry and biomechanics for the club, taking care of the foot health and gait of the players of the first and second teams from Bizkaia for another season.
The agreement provides access to Podoactiva’s exclusive and patented technology, including biomechanical gait studies, personalized insoles made from 3D scanning, application of artificial intelligence processes, podiatry services, and treatments, among others. The club reinforces its commitment to innovation in services available to its players to optimize performance and care for their health.
Bassala Bagayoko was the latest of the black-clad players to undergo a biomechanical study and receive his insoles at the Podoactiva Bilbao Clinic. The player emphasized the importance of Podoactiva in his recovery and improvement. «I am very satisfied with the support provided by Podoactiva. The insoles can help me on the court and in my daily life.»
On the other hand, Alexis Aguirre, director of Podoactiva Bilbao and podiatrist of Bilbao Basket, stated, «We are very proud to sponsor Surne Bilbao Basket. We aim to enhance the players’ performance through biomechanical studies and the incorporation of insoles.»
Podoactiva opened its clinic on General Eguía Street, 35, in the center of Bilbao in 2022, where it takes care of the foot health and gait of all kinds of patients, providing services in Euskadi for over 15 years, with presence in Gipuzkoa, Bizkaia, and Araba.
