LAST DAYS TO SIGN UP FOR THE «BILBAO METAL POP-ROCK» SHOW AT ASTE NAGUSIA
- Proposals can be submitted until May 30 and all styles encompassed within Metal, Pop-Rock, Folk, RAP, Hip Hop… except Jazz will be accepted.
- The Jury will value formations integrated by women and works done in Basque.
- It is essential that at least one member of the music groups is registered in Bizkaia.
The Bilbao City Council reminds that the registration deadline for the 38th edition of the «BILBAO METAL POP-ROCK» Show ends next Friday, May 30 at 23:59 hours.
The show, which is part of the musical program of Aste Nagusia, seeks to promote local talent and is open to soloists and groups with at least one member registered in Bizkaia. Proposals of Metal, Pop-Rock, Folk, RAP, Hip Hop, and other styles are accepted, except Jazz. The jury will especially value formations with female presence and songs in Basque.
Requirements to participate:
- Fill out the online form available at www.bilbao.eus.
- Attach 4 songs in mp3 or wav format.
- Attach a photo of the group or artist (jpg, bmp, or png).
- Attach a musical history in doc, docx, or pdf format.
The selected bands will perform live at Sala Bilborock during Aste Nagusia. Each concert will last for 45 minutes (maximum 50), and a maximum of two versions or adaptations per performance will be allowed.
A professional Jury, composed of journalists and music specialists, will be responsible for selecting 15 proposals, which will join the winning band of the Aste Nagusia prize in the Villasound 2025 contest. The concerts will take place in two daily sessions: at 20:00 and 21:00 hours.
